Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you and your family will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.

An exciting program of music, Bible study, games, crafts and snacks—all pointing our young ones to Jesus and helping them develop friendships in a safe and engaging environment.

A time for our youth to dive deeper into the Bible, to find and follow Jesus Christ, and to develop strong relationships with one another, enabling them to go out into their world equipped to serve and to share the Gospel with others.

SHEPERDING YOUNG HEARTS
The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God through his son, Jesus Christ. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus.
In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun! It's a priority at Poplar Grove to lead our children into a relationship with Jesus and to build on their knowledge and understanding as they grow and to enjoy those times of learning. We think your children will enjoy their time with our wonderful leaders.

If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing: we love students. They're smart. They're funny. They're bold. And they're bursting with potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers now. That's why student ministry is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.

Don't worry, all the good stuff at our church isn't just for the under 18 crowd! We have plenty of engaging events and gatherings designed to build the faith and community of our adults as well. Young or old, Christian or not, single or married, man or woman—we've got a place for you!
We value Scripture—the Bible—as the basis for understanding who God is and how to orient our lives fully around Him. You can expect that each Sunday morning and Sunday and Wednesday evenings will include a set-aside time for worship in song, hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word.
We look for God’s love in our lives as the evidence that we have been truly worshiping Him. It means purposing together, as individuals and as a community, to unite our actions, intentions, and emotions in loving response to God. It means transforming the ways we think so that what we do and who we are become one—in, for, through, and to the Father, Son, and Spirit.
At Poplar Grove we provide Sunday and Wednesday Services, but we also provide Sunday School (essentially small groups) for every age and stage of life where we study God's Word together, pray together, and do life together.
