Donating your time is not the only way to serve at Poplar Grove. There ARE recurring costs for operating and staffing our ministry, BUT we are also helping do God's work throughout our community. We believe that God calls us to give, and to give generously.
Through your generous giving to Poplar Grove in 2025, over $60,000 of your financial contributions stayed in the area, enabling us to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our local community. We were also blessed to send $56,000 to state and international missions efforts. Together we filled 473 Shoeboxes at Christmastime to bless children around the world. We packed and distributed up to 300 crates of food every month to help feed hungry seniors.
There are so many other ways Poplar Grove and our people have chosen to be givers both in this building and outside our doors. In 2026 we will continue to take every opportunity to help make Jesus known in our community and throughout the world. We invite you to join us.
Below is a list of many of the ministries we support through time or financial gifts.

Still Waters seeks to be a home for youth in need where they can find hope and experience God's love while learning practical skills for life and gaining a Christian classical education. Our mission is to offer homes to children who have been orphaned by the drug epidemic in Appalachia. Many of the children in our region are underserved or untouched by social services as family and extended family of the victims from drugs refuse to allow placement.
