Questions of Faith

Most frequent questions and answers

Salvation is “being saved from the consequences of our Sin.”

Romans 3:23 King James Version (KJV)

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

But what are we saved from? What are we saved to? Who are we saved by?

Through salvation we are delivered from the consequences of our Sin, from the clutches of death, and from Satan.

Romans 5:9 King James Version (KJV)

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

But what are we saved to? And by whom?

The Scriptures speak of many benefits to being saved. Ultimately though, we are brought out of our Sin and into Gods light.

Romans 5:1 King James Version (KJV)

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Which brings us to WHO has saved us?

God enacts salvation through His son Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 1:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
